WORLD HISTORY DOCUMENTS includes 350 Primary Source Documents and Speeches written throughout the course of World History. From the Bible to Obama’s Nobel Acceptance Speech, this application covers the breadth and depth of world history. This program also includes 19 audio and video recordings of famous speeches and addresses. All of the documents in the program can be saved to "favorites" or e-mailed.
The documents in the WORLD HISTORY DOCUMENTS program are divided by time periods, and include a translation of the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament and the Koran. Each document includes an explanation on the importance of that document. Beyond the chronological listings, there are separate sections on British, French, Middle East and United States documents. There is also a section of documents on the laws of war and the speeches of Winston Churchill. Audio and video clips of famous historical personalities include: Benito Mussolini, Neville Chamberlain, Adolf Hitler, Franklin Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Charles Degaulle, Fidel Castro, David Ben Gurion, John F Kennedy, Anwar Sadat, Menachem Begin and more.
Each document entry includes an explanation of the significance of the international agreement , law, or key points of a speech.
